What We Make In-House and What We Source: A Bag Factory's Honest Breakdown

Bag factory in-house work vs specialist sourcing: what our Baigou workshop makes and how it affects sampling, changes, MOQ and inspection.

Cutting, sewing, assembly, printing, embroidery, heat-transfer labels and shipping marks all happen in our own workshop in Baigou. Fabric and coatings, zips, webbing, buckles and other hardware, and outer cartons are bought from specialist suppliers. Hangtags, packaging and colour boxes are made by partners to our specification, and we check them when they arrive. Inspection is our own pre-shipment check by default, and a buyer-nominated or third-party inspection can be arranged for any order. Below is what each line means for your order.

Sewing runs in our own 3,000 m² sewing workshop in Baigou, and we have been making bags for more than 20 years. Our Tianjin team handles export documentation and communication.

Why does it matter that printing and embroidery are in-house?

Because the logo is usually the part that changes. When printing and embroidery sit in the same workshop as sewing, three things follow:

  • Sampling does not queue behind an outside decorator. The logo goes on the sample in the same run.
  • A colour or artwork change does not cost a full round trip. Sample revisions are handled in-house, so a change does not wait in an outside queue.
  • Small runs are not capped by a subcontractor's minimum. An outside printer often sets its own minimum; ours is set by the bag, not by a third party.

Before sampling, we prepare a Free Logo Mockup so you can check size and position first.

What do you buy in, and how do you control it?

We do not weave or coat fabric, make zips or buckles, or print colour boxes. Those are specialist trades, and buying from specialists gives you a wider range than any one bag factory could make.

What stays with us is the decision and the check. We choose the material for how the bag will be used, set the specification for packaging and hangtags, and check them when they arrive. When a part is special, such as a branded puller or a custom buckle, its timing depends on that supplier, so we raise it when we quote.

Who inspects the goods before they ship?

Every order goes through our own pre-shipment check. If your company works with a nominated inspector or a third-party inspection service, we arrange it for that order. The approved sample is the standard the bulk order is checked against.

What does this mean for MOQ and lead time?

For an existing style with your logo, MOQ from 50 pcs*. Custom colors and structure available on request (from 500 pcs). Browse crossbody styles.

Sample 7-15 days, subject to style complexity and confirmed per project. Bulk production usually takes 15-30 days; final dates are confirmed per project in your quotation. The sample fee is refundable when your bulk order reaches 1,000 pcs or more.
